The Ely Folk School is excited to bring the We Are Water MN exhibit from the Minnesota Humanities Center to Ely this spring! We Are Water MN deepens connections between the humanities and water through a network of partnerships, a traveling exhibit, and public events. We Are Water MN helps communities, organizations, and individuals make better, more collaborative, and more relevant choices about water.

Exhibit Hours:
The exhibit is hosted by the Ely Area Community Foundation at the HUB on Miners Drive. The building and exhibit is open from 7 am - 5 pm daily with select events offering extended evening hours.
While you're there, depending on you and your family, be sure to inquire about a gym membership, daycare openings, or classes and coffee hours for aging adults.


We are Water MN is led by the Minnesota Humanities Center in partnership with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency; the Minnesota Historical Society; the Board of Water and Soil Resources; the Minnesota Departments of Agriculture, Health, and Natural Resources; and University of Minnesota Extension.
We are Water MN is funded in part with money from the Clean Water, Land, & Legacy Fund that was created with the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008 and by the National Endowment for the Humanities.
