We’ll take a quick look at the use of macro photography and shooting bees. First, a definition of what macro photography is, how and where it’s used and implications for shooting insects. Next we’ll look at dedicated macro lenses and what to expect from those. We’ll go on to using other lenses (pros and cons) and the use of extension tubes. From there we’ll dive into technique, use of light, depth of field problems and weather considerations. We’ll finish with bee photography in particular – particularly how to get them from being “busy bees”!”
