Ages: 7 to 11
Students will make watercolor notecards with instruction on how to pick a subject, compose a drawing, and watercolor it, covering the basic components of composition, position, and color. Students will experiment, creating colors from three primary colors and using a variety of materials to create interesting effects with the paint. Participants are welcome to bring personal additions for the cards like photos, lace, sparkles, etc.
Open to ages 7 to 11
About the instructors: Claire Taylor and Sandy Brandley have both been creative explorers throughout their lives, learning and teaching others. Recent favorites are pottery, watercolor, and stained glass.
