Under Cecilia Rolando’s guidance, attendees will design a fabric hanging from a selection of materials, piece it together during class, and then either use their home sewing machine to finish it, or hand sew it together later. The class is open to beginners or experienced sewers and quilters. The focus will be on design and how to piece together fabric, threads, yard, buttons, trims, etc. without the formality of quilting.
Students are invited (but not required) to bring favorite scissors and other tools, large needles and pins.
